A tangy and spicy turmeric pickle
Ingredients:
- 100g fresh turmeric root (grated or chopped)
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons mustard oil
Instructions:
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and let it cool slightly.
- Add mustard seeds and let them pop.
- Mix in turmeric, salt, chili powder, and lemon juice.
- Store in a jar and let it sit for 2-3 days before consuming.
