1. Turmeric Milk (Golden Milk) 🥛
A traditional Indian drink with healing properties
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (helps absorption)
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- ½ teaspoon honey or jaggery (for sweetness)
Instructions:
- Heat the milk in a pan until warm (don’t boil).
- Add turmeric, black pepper, and cinnamon. Stir well.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and add honey. Mix well.
- Drink warm before bedtime.
