Turmeric Milk

1. Turmeric Milk (Golden Milk) 🥛

A traditional Indian drink with healing properties

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (helps absorption)
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon honey or jaggery (for sweetness)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the milk in a pan until warm (don’t boil).
  2. Add turmeric, black pepper, and cinnamon. Stir well.
  3. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and add honey. Mix well.
  5. Drink warm before bedtime.
